Well designed and fitted weight integrated buoyancy systems are more comfortable, fit better, and make it possible to achieve better balance in the water.

All Zeagle’s BCD’s, with the exception of some special purpose technical models, are designed to be fully weight integrated. Conventional BCD's (and some poorly designed weight integrated BC's) tend to fit with the waistband over the diaphragm, well above the waist. This restricts breathing and motion, and positions the buoyancy too high on the diver's body for best balance.

A Zeagle BC should be worn low, with both lift and weight balanced over the diver’s centre of buoyancy. This allows the diver to float easily in any position on the surface and to have complete freedom of motion underwater. It also allows the BC to fit more comfortably, keeping pressure off the diaphragm, and greatly reduces the feeling of restriction that is common with many BCD's.
