Product Description
SP400: Suitable for use in dry oxygen, dry nitrogen and L.P. Gas environments. Ideal for use on SCUBA regulators & equipment. SP400 is blended synthetic grease with remarkable performance characteristics, giving probably the greatest achievement in low co-efficient of friction at extremely low and high temperatures and pressure levels.
SP400 incorporates hi-tech synthetic polysilane and polytetrafluoroethylene molecules into a high temperature, homogeneous inert gel system. It has excellent dielectric strength and will withstand temperatures within the range of -200C to around +400C. It has moisture and oxidation resistance and is also resistant to corrosive atmospheres and a wide range of other chemicals.
SP400 is also one of the few chemicals that will not affect natural or synthetic rubber seals, valves or bearings and is modeled on MIL-S-8660 specification and is compatible when in contact with hydrogen peroxide.
APPLICATIONS Suitable for high temperature and low temperature (Cryogenic) engineering components; long-life lubricant for bearings rubber seals; Orings, valves, hydraulic shafts, ball and socket connections; as a sealant for gaskets; as an +anti-seize+ agent for nuts, bolts and other fasteners; as a mould release agent for a wide range of polymer products; as an electrical insulator and moisture proof sealant in marine, aviation and automotive ignition systems.
Suitable for use in dry oxygen, dry nitrogen and L.P. Gas environments. Ideal for use on SCUBA regulators & equipment.
